A taxi driver this week sued an Ohio man who he said vomited in his cab in June and then assaulted him after calling him a "(expletive) terrorist."
Syed Raza, a Yellow Cab driver from Turtle Creek, filed suit yesterday in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court against Brady P. Roth, 22, of Martins Ferry, Ohio.
Kennedy police cited Mr. Roth on June 7 for harassment, after which he pleaded guilty and paid a fine, according to court records.
In his suit, Mr. Raza said he picked up Mr. Roth and four companions on the South Side at 3:30 a.m. and took them to their motel in Kennedy. But during the drive, he said, Mr. Roth threw up on the seat. Mr. Raza asked for payment for the damage and then asked Mr. Roth to clean up the vomit.
Mr. Roth responded with vile language and told Mr. Raza to clean it up himself, saying it was his job, according to the complaint.
When Mr. Raza said he would call police if Mr. Roth didn't clean it up, he said Mr. Roth punched and kicked him while calling him a terrorist.
