Q: Pat Devlin sure would have looked good in a blue and white uniform Saturday against Ohio State. I hope future PSU quarterbacks live up to being a good game-day quarterback, because Daryll Clark has not played well at all.

MUSSELMAN: Clark has put up some great stats and Penn State people spent a lot of time prior to the ugly 24-7 loss to Ohio State complaining to the media about him not getting any respect. I didn't buy into it. I have said all along, Clark has had a decent career but he's not been great. People love to bash Anthony Morelli, the guy Clark replaced, for not winning big games, but I don't see a whole lot of difference between them, except perhaps personality. As far as Devlin goes, it's hard to tell if he would have fared any better than Clark had he stayed at Penn State. There's a big difference between Division I-AA, where Devlin now plays for Delaware, and Division I-A.
