Professional wrestler Kurt Angle and his former girlfriend entered into a civil consent order today in which she agreed to withdraw a protection from abuse complaint against him that is also the basis of an assault charge filed by police.
The order, signed by Allegheny County Common Pleas Judge Kathryn Hans-Greco, requires Trenesha Biggers, also a pro wrestler, and Mr. Angle to have no contact with each other.
The underlying accusations of the PFA, however, are still the subject of a simple assault charge against Mr. Angle. A preliminary hearing on the charge is scheduled for Tuesday before District Judge Mary Murray of Coraopolis.
According to police, Mr. Angle attacked Ms. Biggers at his Moon home on Aug. 6.
