Pittsburgh police are investigating the exchange of gunfire near the intersection of North Lang Street and Thomas Boulevard.
A city emergency dispatch supervisor said the incident was reported at 7:45 p.m. Saturday when an unidentified man arrived at UPMC Presbyterian seeking treatment for a gunshot wound to the neck. The person had been transported to the hospital by private vehicle.
Police are investigating the connection between the exchange of shots, apparently between two vehicles, and the injured man.
