Five people were hurt, two critically, in a crash this morning in the city.

An emergency dispatch supervisor said the accident occurred at 5 a.m. in the 4500 block of Gates Drive.

The injured were taken to UPMC Mercy and UPMC Presbyterian.

No other details were immediately available.

An electrical outage followed the crash.
