H1N1 spray offered at Norwin Middle School
Saturday, October 31, 2009

The Westmoreland County Department of Health has scheduled free public distribution of the H1N1 nasal spray vaccine on Monday and Wednesday in the auxiliary gym at Norwin Middle School, Mockingbird Drive, North Huntingdon.

The hours both days will be 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday's session will be for healthy persons ages 2-49 who have submitted the required consent form. A minor must be accompanied by an adult.

Wednesday's session will be for healthy persons 2-49 who pre-registered but cannot attend Monday. Walk-ins will be accepted that day.

The Norwin School District received 2,500 doses of the vaccine and got more than 800 completed consent forms during a two-week pre-registration period.

Walk-ins should complete and sign a consent form before arriving at the middle school. Blank forms, however, will be available at the site.

Consent forms and clinic information is available at www.norwinsd.org.
