A man suspected of holding up a Baldwin Borough convenience store and then escaping by running through a home in Brentwood on Sunday surrendered today.
Baldwin Police Chief Michael Scott said police had developed Jason Agliori, 20, of Carrick, as a suspect based on eyewitness accounts, store video and other information.
Mr. Agliori was arraigned today before District Judge John Bova of Brentwood and held on a total of $50,000 straight bond on charges of robbing the store and breaking into the Brentwood home.
Chief Scott said the Sunoco convenience store in the 2900 block of Churchview Avenue was robbed at 11:11 a.m. Sunday by a man who said he had a gun in a plastic bag and pressed it to a cashier's chest.
He vaulted the counter and took $360 from a cash register, then ran out with patrons in pursuit.
He ran to the 2800 block of Pyramid Avenue in Brentwood, where he entered a house, startling an occupant, and ran out the back to escape.
