
Most of the 700 guests at The Andy Warhol Museum Saturday night didn't know or care that earlier in the day street artist turned political agitator Shepard Fairey admitted he had used a photo of Barack Obama without permission for his famous "Hope" poster. In an exhibition that is ripe with found images (much like Warhol himself), the crowd responded to the astonishing body of work displayed on two floors, and to Fairey, who acted as DJ during the packed opening reception and mingled with rock star radiance among his fans.
