Fire truck clips van with Crowe; no one hurt
Film note
Friday, October 16, 2009

A fire truck took a corner too quickly Wednesday and sheared off the fender of a van with Russell Crowe and Elizabeth Banks, who were unharmed.

A publicist for "The Next Three Days" said yesterday the vehicle was stationary, no one was hurt and the accident happened between shots. The fender-bender was reported on WTAE-TV, which said the truck was pulling out of the Deutschtown Fire Station when it knocked the front end off a van parked in the street.

"The Next Three Days" caused quite a stir Monday at Duquesne University when Crowe filmed on Bluff Street near the administration building. Go to www.duq.edu (search for Crowe) for photos.
