UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. --- Penn State quarterback Daryll Clark said today he expects fellow co-captain Sean Lee to play for the first time in a month Saturday against Minnesota.
Lee, a fifth-year senior outside linebacker from Upper St. Clair High School, has missed the past three games with a sprained left knee.
Clark said Lee practiced Tuesday for the second day in a row, although in a limited role.
"He's in a white cross [limited contact] and they're not giving him a lot of reps at practice so that he doesn't hurt himself again," Clark said. "But there's a huge, huge possibility that he's going to play Saturday."
Lee, who missed last season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, has missed 16 of the Nittany Lions' past 19 games.
Lee doesn't believe his two knee injuries will scare off NFL scouts.
"If you watch my play in the first three games coming back from my ACL injury, I don't think I lost a step," he said. "I think I was playing actually better. So I don't think that should be an issue."
