A 72-year-old man was found dead under a lawn tractor last night in his West Alexander yard, according to the Washington County coroner.

William Clifford Harris was pronounced dead at about 7:30 p.m. after he was found by his live-in companion in the rear yard of his Church Street residence.

His cause of death will be determined by a pending autopsy. Donegal Township police are investigating the incident.
