Allegheny River Boulevard at Sandy Creek Road in Penn Hills reopened about 9:30 a.m. today.

The road had been closed following an accident that occurred about 2 a.m. on Sandy Creek Road.

The accident involved injuries, according to an Allegheny County emergency dispatch supervisor, but no other details were immediately available.
