A teenage girl was wounded in a shooting tonight in Rankin.
Emergency dispatchers said the girl, whose name and age were not available, had been in the 100 block of Third Avenue near Kenmawr when she was shot at 10:46 p.m.
She has been taken to UPMC Mercy. Her condition was not immediately available.
Allegheny County homicide detectives have been dispatched to investigate.
No arrests had been made this evening.
