The Shaler boys' soccer team finished at or near the bottom of its section the past two seasons, but an upset of No. 6 Seneca Valley last night has lifted the Titans to a much higher altitude.
Senior Eric Hackworth's goal with 3:30 left in the first overtime gave Shaler a 2-1 victory against visiting Seneca Valley (5-2, 2-1) in WPIAL Class AAA, Section 2.
