Hill, Barth & King LLC promoted LeAnn Davids and David Mailliard, supervisors, Erie office, and Lauren Barnes, senior level, Pittsburgh office

Carbis Walker LLP promoted to supervisor level Tim Adams, member, construction and real estate services team; Darrell Carley and Rachel Gordon, members of the manufacturing and distribution services team; and Jessica Kline, member, health care services team. And it promoted to senior associate level Christina Marinoff, member, tax services team. Kelly Domenick, tax services team, and Kelly Nord, health care services team, were promoted to senior manager level.

KPMG LLP said Trent Marek, a federal tax partner, has joined its Pittsburgh office. Mr. Marek most recently worked in the its Birmingham office.

Elaine Hatfield was named vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer at Alle-Kiski Medical Center.

Ohio Valley General Hospital said Dr. Alex Senchenkov joined its medical staff. Dr. Senchenkov is certified by the American Board of Surgery and has experience and fellowship training in plastic surgery, microsurgery and head and neck surgical oncology.

Alle-Kiski Medical Center said Dr. Jamal M. Aljari joined its medical staff and specializes in internal medicine.

Acacia J. Svonavec was appointed director of public relations/guest relations and volunteer services at Canonsburg General Hospital.

Doubletree Hotel and Jacksons Restaurant-Rotisserie-Bar named Brian Torchia, director of operations.

Maria Bates joined Babb Inc. as an account manager, employee benefits.

Gary Davis was named manager of Elliott Co.'s newly formed steam turbine generator business team.

Elliott Co. appointed John Hanigan regional director for its global service business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Pittsburgh Corning appointed Paul J. Treml, marketing manager for the Foamglas Insulation industrial product line.

Consumer Health Coalition named Beth Heeb executive director.

Bridgeway Capital hired Andrea Bon as loan administrator.

The Children's Festival Chorus of Pittsburgh appointed 2009-2010 season board officers: President, Dr. Benjamin Hodes, dean emeritus, Duquesne University School of Leadership and Non-Profit Advancement; vice-president, Ann Felter Mason, major gifts officer, Magee-Womens Foundation; secretary, Janet Chace, career support specialist, CCAC North Campus; and treasurer, Richard Schmidt, managing director, PricewaterhouseCoopers. In addition, Lois Wholey, community leader, was elected to its board.
