West Virginia basketball guard Darryl "Truck" Bryant has been reinstated to the team, coach Bob Huggins announced this morning.
Bryant faced court in two cases involving two minor traffic accidents in West Virginia this past summer, and Huggins suspended him in July.
Bryant pleaded no contest in both cases -- once to leaving the scene of an accident, the other to failure to exercise due care -- and he was fined in both cases.
"Darryl has done everything that has been asked of him on all fronts," Huggins said. "I believe he has earned the opportunity to be reinstated to our team."
A sophomore from Brooklyn, N.Y., Bryant started 28 games as a freshman point guard last year, averaging 9.8 points per game.
