Thanks much for your participation in the West Virginia football Q&A.

It is your job to ask the questions; my job to answer them -- so keep them rolling in, but please include your first and last name and location. I will answer them every day throughout the season and through whatever bowl game the Mountaineers go to, as well as through signing day in February.

You can follow the Mountaineers daily here and at 'Eers to the Ground, a blog devoted to West Virginia football.

Also, take time each week to find your way into my live chat, it is each Thursday at 2 p.m.

Q: What's the situation with the highly recruited Logan Heastie? I've hardly heard his name mentioned this summer/this season.

Wes Runyan, Alum Creek, W.Va.

DUNLAP: He is coming along, I guess that is the best way to put it. As with almost all young skill position kids (and we are seeing it with Tavon Austin, J.D. Woods and Mark Rodgers) there is an undeniable adjustment to the speed of things. Last week, Logan was listed as the No. 2 inside receiver behind Alric Arnett and I am certain that is where he will stay. Again, it is a process, he is getting it, but the WVU fans need to understand it will take time with these young receivers and, while they are being put into the game right now in spots, the answer is not to get them each 10 touches a contest.
