CLASSES

Center -- The Beaver County Genealogy & History Center will sponsor "The French and Indian War in Pennsylvania" at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Mormon Family History Center, 114 Church Drive. Speaker will be David Miller of the Bushy Run Battlefield. Call 724-843-7124.

Scott -- The Scott Township Public Library, 301 Lindsay Road, will sponsor an eight-week belly dance class at 1 p.m. Saturdays, beginning Saturday. The cost is $60, $40 for teens. Call 412-429-5380.

CONCERTS

South Fayette -- South Fayette High School will hold a band festival at 7 p.m. Saturday at the high school stadium, 3680 Old Oakdale Road. Scheduled to perform are the bands from Canon McMillan, Chartiers Valley, Cornell, Fort Cherry, Northgate, Peters Township, Pine-Richland, Schenley and West Greene high schools, as well as the host school. ENTERTAINMENT

Moon -- The volunteer fire department will sponsor a Classic Car Cruise from 8 a.m. to dark Sunday in Moon Park. There will be entertainment and refreshments.

FESTIVALS

Midland -- St. Blaise Catholic Parish, 772 Ohio Ave., will hold a festival from 4 to 10 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday. Included are ethnic foods, bingo, live entertainment and more. Call 724-643-4050 or 724-643-9285.

FUNDRAISERS

Robinson, Allegheny County -- Bishop Canevin High School will hold its annual Crusader Classic Golf Outing Oct. 5 at Chartiers Country Club, 601 Baldwin Road. Registration will take place from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., with a noon shotgun start and a 5:30 p.m. dinner. The cost is $175 per golfer with discounts available for recent alumni. South Fayette -- The Bridgeville-South Fayette Rotary will sponsor a chili cook-off from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 4 in Fairview Park, Laurel Ridge Circle. The cost is $75 for a 10-foot-by-10-foot space, and the deadline is Sept. 21. Proceeds benefit local Rotary projects. Call 412-221-9250.

Sheraden -- A Day in the Life of a Pittsburgh Paramedic will be presented from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Sheraden Library, 720 Sherwood Ave. Refreshments will be served. MEETINGS
