A collaboration of nonprofit (Coro, Pittsburgh Cares, Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and Public Allies Pittsburgh), corporate (Allegheny Conference on Community Development, Mullen Advertising, and Pittsburgh G-20 Partnership) and government (Allegheny County Parks) partners.
Sept. 25: Employees and students have the opportunity to volunteer in community service projects in Schenley Park, Settlers Cabin, North Park and South Park. In addition to these areas, a number of nonprofits will be offering supplemental opportunities in locations throughout Pittsburgh, including Global Links and World Vision. Chick-fil-A and Neumeyer Environmental Services, Inc. will provide lunch and T-shirts for volunteers. Building on the afternoon's discussions, the economic development priorities of the G-20 will go on trial.
