Banking & Finance

Matthew J. Husak joined Parkvale Bank as vice president and audit/compliance/risk director.

Citizens Bank appointed Ron Hayes vice president, senior business development officer, Citizens Bank Business Finance, the asset based lending unit of Citizens Republic Bancorp.

First Commonwealth Bank said Beverly A. Fairman was appointed to its board. Ms. Fairman owns and manages the retail Fairlady & Co. LLC, specializing in art, antiques and gifts, and also part-owner of Fairman Corp., a gas production company headquartered in Du Bois, Clearfield County.

Education

James W. Marczak joined The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh's board. He is president and CEO of Sycor Americas Inc.

Dr. David W. Seybert was reappointed to a three-year term as dean of the Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences at Duquesne University.

Health & Medicine

Alle-Kiski Medical Center said Dr. John Hower, general surgeon, joined its medical staff.

Terry Kilbury was hired as director of Sivitz Jewish Hospice, and Charlotte McConnell, as director of JAA Home Care by The Jewish Association on Aging.

Dr. Saloni Sharma joined Rehabilitation and Pain Specialists.

Insurance

Liberty Insurance Agency of Pittsburgh hired Brian O'Connor as a commercial insurance account executive.

Law

Scott Williams rejoined Keevican Weiss Bauerle & Hirsch as a member of two practice groups: mergers & acquisitions, and corporate finance and securities. He focuses on buying and selling businesses, bank lending and regulatory matters, business finance and commercial transactions.

McGrath & Associates changed its named to McGrath Law Group and said Justin L. McCall has become a shareholder with the firm.

Manufacturing

Tube City IMS LLC said Joseph Curtin was named president and CEO of Tube City IMS Corp. and its operating subsidiary Tube City IMS LLC, and joined the board.

Jadco Inc. appointed D. Scott Rife vice president.

Nonprofit

Women' s Business Network Inc. named its officers: President, Melissa McGavick, McGavick Interactive; vice president, Kathleen Schneider, Law Offices of Kathleen D. Schneider; treasurer, Rebecca Wanovich, Pierson & Scott/Polachek Co.; recording secretary, Barbara Meinen, State Farm Insurance; and corresponding secretary, Annette Ziemba, Isagenix. Board members at large appointed were Joy Klohonatz, Southern Living at Home; Gayle Bradley, Wells Fargo Advisors; Sharon Bone, Mary Kay Cosmetics; Lori Altrudo, Oxford Mortgage; and Charlotte Kaltenbaugh, Sabika Austrian Crystal Jewelry.

Organizations

The Oakland Planning and Development Corp. hired Wanda Wilson as executive director.

Public Relation

Natalie Farinacci rejoined the WordWrite Communications team as an assistant account executive. She was an intern last year.

Millcraft Industries said Mark Jennings joined as director of residential sales for the luxury residences at Piatt Place.

Utilities

Westinghouse appointed William C. Burns president of its crane subsidiary.
