A Uniontown man was killed Friday night when his motorcycle struck the rear of another vehicle in Fayette County.

Shawn P. Keller, 39, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 10:17 p.m. accident on Route 40 at New Beaver Creek Road in Henry Clay. State police said Mr. Keller was eastbound on Route 40 when his motorcycle hit a car driven by Stephen M. Witt, 37, of Markleysburg, Fayette County.

Mr. Keller was wearing a helmet, state police said. Mr. Witt was not injured.
