John H. Martin grave, Allegheny Cemetery
To explore, click and drag inside image

John H. Martin isn't the most famous occupant of a cemetery that can boast of being the final resting place for such notables as Stephen Foster, Josh Gibson and Thomas Mellon. But his likeness has one of the best views. Martin died at age 24 in 1882. Allegheny Cemtery's first interment took place in 1845. Now, more than 124,000 people are buried in its 300 acres.
