Where: The 22nd annual Dublin Irish Festival in Dublin, Ohio, today through Sunday.

How far: About a 3 1/2-hour drive from Pittsburgh, just north of Columbus.
Hours: 4 p.m.-midnight today; 11 a.m.-midnight Saturday; 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday.
How much: $10 for adults, $7 seniors (60-plus), children 12 and under free. A ticket includes all entertainment; for a list of activities, visit www.dublinirishfestival.org
What to do: Traditional Irish music and the perfect pint are a given. But you can also take a free Irish dance lesson or learn to make soda bread; watch costumed re-enactors weave linen or wool using 19th-century tools; and watch sports native to Celtic lands, such as the game of cornhole, caber tossing and hurling.
Other cultural activities include an Irish wake and Irish storytellers and poets. Or, prove your Irishness by entering a contest on Sunday to see who has the greenest eyes, reddest hair or most freckles.
Fun factor: 8, even if you're not Irish, because St. Patrick's Day is still seven months away.
