Steelers sign TE Miller to six-year extension

The Steelers came to a contract extension with tight end Heath Miller tonight that will pay him $35.3 million over the next six seasons.

Miller had one year left on the five-year contract he signed as a rookie, when he was their first-round draft choice in 2005. The contract includes a $12.5 million signing bonus.
