Winning the 10th annual Julia Deberson Award, given to a CLO ensemble member who shows professional skill, high work ethic, an optimistic attitude, the ability to work well with others and a passion for his or her work, was Peters native Kathryn Lin Terza. The award was presented at the opening-night party for "Copacabana."

She studied at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and graduated from Pittsburgh Musical Theater's pre-college program before attending Point Park University. She has a dozen CLO shows to her credit, going back to 2007, when she was featured in that year's Post-Gazette story about the CLO ensemble.
