A driver who was killed in a one-vehicle crash early yesterday in Fayette County has been identified as Greg Grimm, 36, of Uniontown.

Mr. Grimm had been driving on Route 857 North in Georges Township when he lost control of his sport utility vehicle on a bend near the Fayette County Vocational Technical School.

The vehicle drove through a grassy area and slammed into a brick wall on the vo-tech school property, the coroner's office said.

Mr. Grimm was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:08 a.m. by Deputy Coroner John Kondrla.
