A Munhall man will spend 5 to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty this morning to homicide by vehicle while under the influence.
Robert Bartok, 54, admitted guilt for the hit-and-run deaths of motorcyclist Paul A. Schmidt, 26, and his passenger, Kelly Vasko, 31, both of Greensburg.
Mr. Bartok, according to police, ran into the motorcycle on Route 837 at Overland Street in Duquesne on July 11, 2008.
Allegheny County Judge Kevin G. Sasinoski imposed the sentence, which was agreed upon by the prosecution and defense.
