Missing Ohio man found Downtown
Friday, July 10, 2009

An Ohio man who had been missing since arriving at Pittsburgh International Airport Sunday was found Downtown today.

Delbert Hall, 31, had stopped into a 7-Eleven at Sixth Street and Penn Avenue, Downtown, around 6 a.m. today. Clerk Mary Moran said he used an Ohio food stamp card to buy a Dr. Pepper. After he left, Ohio authorities monitoring use of the card contacted Ms. Moran at the store.

When Mr. Hall returned to the store around 9 a.m., Ms. Moran kept him talking while police were called.

Mr. Hall's mother arrived from East Liverpool this afternoon to pick him up at the Hill District police station. Officer Matthew Zuccher said Mr. Hall appeared to be healthy.

More details in tomorrow's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
