The Allegheny County bomb squad was called to a home in Westmoreland County on Saturday to look for potential explosive devices, but none was found.

Washington Township officers were notified by police in Hudson Falls, New York, and the FBI that they had taken a man named Jason Babson into custody.

Mr. Babson lives on Exton Lake Road in Washington Township.

According to police in New York, when Mr. Babson was arrested, he had a home-made bomb in a bag and previously made a statement about blowing up a school.
