Pittsburgh police charge Baldwin woman with homicide
Her boyfriend is dead

Pittsburgh Police this morning charged a 20-year-old Baldwin woman with criminal homicide in connection with a fatal domestic dispute that occurred late Saturday night.

Police said Ciara Roberts was found by police huddled over her 28-year-old boyfriend, Chondale Terry, at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Wood streets at about 11:53 p.m. Officers had been called to the scene of a suspected shooting.

Mr. Terry was found shot in the chest and was unresponsive, police said. He was taken to UPMC-Mercy Hospital, where he died a short time later.

Police said Ms. Roberts and Mr. Terry were girlfriend and boyfriend, living together on Keeport Drive in Baldwin. Police said Ms. Roberts became incensed when Mr. Terry walked away from her during an argument; She pulled out a revolver and shot him, police said.
