HEALTH

Rostraver -- Childbirth preparation classes will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, next week through July 29 at the Mon-Vale HealthPLEX. The four-week series includes classes on pain medication options, relaxation techniques, signs of labor and more. Details and registration, 724-258-2229.

Baldwin Borough -- Baldwin Borough Public Library will hold these programs:

• "Green Music Fun," 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., July 11. Make an instrument from a recycled container.

• Library Family Picnic, 6 to 8 p.m., July 13.

• Iron Chef Competition, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., July 15. For teens.

Jefferson Hills -- "Alice in Wonderland" will be discussed among high school students from 2 to 4 p.m. July 14 at Jefferson Hills Library. New symbolism can be discovered and a tea party will be held afterward. Register by next Thursday.

Mt. Lebanon -- Mt. Lebanon Public Library will hold these programs:

• Discover Darwin, 10 a.m., Tuesday. Darwin's activities, relationships, ideas, publications and subsequent controversies will be discusses.

• Make Your Own Ringtone, 1:30 p.m., Tuesday. For middle and high school students. Materials provided.

• Spanish Fiestas, 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Kids in grades 1-3 are invited for Spanish festivities led by Spanish teachers from the Mt. Lebanon School District.

Whitehall -- Whitehall Public Library will hold a Middle Eastern Dance Class from 10 to 11:30 a.m. July 11. Children ages 8-14 are invited to learn basic movements.
