Unemployment up slightly in June, government reports

The Federal Bureau of Labor Statistics this morning reported the national unemployment rate rose just a 10th of 1 percent to reach 9.5 percent nationally in June.

Manufacturing, professional and business services and construction industries saw the biggest job losses last month as non-farm employment in the nation lost 467,000 jobs.
