Wednesday, July 01, 2009

Woodland Hills running back/cornerback Dom Timbers, who will be a senior in the fall, has made a verbal commitment to Syracuse.

Timbers, who is 5 feet 10, 185 pounds, also returns punts and kickoffs and had a scholarship offer from Eastern Michigan, but had recently been receiving interest from larger schools.

After playing his first two seasons at Central Catholic, Timbers transferred to Woodland Hills before the start of last season, became eligible for Week 5 and went on to run for over 500 yards and 11 touchdowns.
