Indiana County man dies of crash injuries

An Indiana County man died yesterday from injuries he suffered in a head-on collision Wednesday in Washington Township, Indiana County.

Joshua McCloskey, 28, of Homer City, was pronounced dead at 8:45 p.m. yesterday in Allegheny General Hospital, where he was taken after the accident.

The crash was reported at 12:34 p.m. Wednesday after Mr. McCloskey's vehicle, which had been traveling west on Route 422 at Route 156, crossed the center line.

His vehicle collided with an eastbound motor home driven by William W. Clouse, 48, of Sunnyvale, Calif.

Mr. Clouse, who was not wearing a seat belt, was not injured.

His motor home sustained heavy damage to the front end, state police said.

Mr. McCloskey died of trauma of the trunk and extremities, the Allegheny County medical examiner said.
