Two-time defending PIAA champion Thomas Jefferson and highly touted Sto-Rox quarterback Paul Jones are two of the attractions on FSN Pittsburgh's Thursday night high school football television package this season.
Jones, a Penn State recruit, will lead Sto-Rox against Seton-LaSalle Sept. 24, and Thomas Jefferson will play at Chartiers Valley Oct. 15.
This is the fifth year of FSN's Thursday night high school package. The cable television station also will televise Friday night games in the first three rounds of the playoffs and all four WPIAL championship games Nov. 27 at Heinz Field.
The first FSN game this season is Sept. 17, the third week of the season. The station usually kicks off coverage in the second week, but the Steelers play their regular-season opener Sept. 10 against Tennessee, and the station did not want to go up against a Steelers game.
