Pedestrian killed in Fayette County

A woman was struck by a vehicle a killed late Saturday night in Fayette County.

Dispatchers said the unidentified female was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:59 p.m. on Route 49 in Menallen by Fayette County Deputy Coroner Roger Victor.

No cause of death has been released.

State police at Uniontown are investigating.
