A Jennerstown, Somerset County, man being interviewed yesterday by state police in connection with alleged rape and sexual assault of a child in 2006 was also charged with drug violations when he was found to be in possession of cocaine and marijuana, state police said.

Michael Eugene Lisbon, 28, was charged yesterday in the sexual assault reported by the female victim, who was 10 at the time of the incident. For those crimes, he was placed in the Somerset County Jail on $50,000 bond, state police said. The investigation continues.

During his contact with police, he was found to be in possession of cocaine and marijuana which he confessed to possessing with intent to deliver. For those drug charges, he was placed on $5,000 bond.
