Charges against Pitt football player dropped

Charges against Pitt senior middle linebacker Adam Gunn stemming from an incident outside a Station Square nightclub May 10 were withdrawn this afternoon.

Gunn has been reinstated to the football team by Pitt coach Dave Wannstedt. He had been suspended indefinitely the day after he was arrested and charged with two misdemeanors and two summary offenses for his alleged involvement in a scuffle with police officers.
