Thursday, May 28, 2009

Plum police today found 400 bags of suspected heroin under a car seat occupied by an 18-month-old child.

Police arrested Andre Dyer, 20, of the Hill District, who was targeted in a month-long investigation by Plum police, and narcotics officers from the state police and the Allegheny County District Attorney's office.

According to the DA's office, today was the second time in a month that Mr. Dyer sold drugs to undercover officers.

Detectives also arrested Alfred Daniel Collymore, 25, of New Kensington, believed to be Mr. Dyer's primary supplier.

Both men were charged with possession with intent to deliver.
