The Port Authority has announced times for two public meetings on its plan to revamp transit service.

The meetings will take place from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 3 at the Omni William Penn Hotel, 530 William Penn Place, Downtown, in the Urban Room; and 2 to 5 and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 8 at University of Pittsburgh Alumni Hall, Connolly Ballroom, 4227 Fifth Ave., Oakland.

A consultant has developed three concepts for consolidating stops and increasing the frequency of service on a reduced number of routes, along with other enhancements to bus service. More information is available at tdp.portauthority.org.

The authority board hopes to adopt a plan for service changes in September.
