It was a totally Pinksburgh night Friday during the Civic Light Opera Guild's "Legally Pink" Pink Frolic Ball at the Omni William Penn. VIPs, including honorary chairs Renee and Lucas Piatt, ball chair Colleen Travis and board chair Dolores Bold, gathered on the mezzanine level for some pre-gala cocktails before heading to the ballroom where Grammy- and Oscar-winning composer Stephen Schwartz was honored with the Richard Rodgers Award for Excellence in Musical Theater for his "Wicked" talent. He glowed with gratitude amid a fusion of pink satin tables and spectacular centerpieces by Blooms.
