A spokesman for the Penn State police department said today that a man who was visiting the apartment of four Penn State football players the night of the Blue-White spring game last month faces a misdemeanor drug charge.
No one was home when police responded to the incident shortly after 11 p.m. on April 25 at Nittany Apartments. They confiscated marijuana residue and drug paraphernalia.
Ronald Bridges of Bear, Del., was charged with the controlled susbstance drug, device and cosmetic act.
The spokeman said the case is closed.
A search warrant identified the residents of the on-campus apartment as tailback Stephfon Green, defensive tackle Devon Still, guard Johnnie Troutman and defensive end Eric Latimore. All four players are sophomores.
