Thinking about buying a motorcycle and experiencing the freedom on the open highway?
Then think about safety first.
Motorcyclists have the opportunity to participate in the Basic Rider Course at various sites throughout the state.
The course, part of the Pennsylvania Motorcycle Safety Program, is free and is designed to teach riders of all skill levels the fundamentals needed to safely operate a motorcycle.
To register or for more information, go to pamsp.com.
To get an idea of what the safety program is all about, watch a video from this course, produced by Nate Guidry at Community College of Allegheny County's Boyce Campus in Monroeville.
