CLASSES

Ross -- The North Hills School District will offer these classes at the North Hills Senior High School pool, 53 Rochester Road:

• CPR for the Professional Rescuer, 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. May 18 and 19. Participants must have a current cardiopulmonary resuscitation card. Cost: $20.

• Life-guarding class, 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. May 11 through 13 and 18 through 19. Participants must have a current life-guarding card. Cost: $100.

SEMINARS

Sewickley -- The Samaritan Counseling Center, a faith-based nonprofit agency, will hold a series of workshops to help people cope with the economic downturn. VETERANS
