The Ireland Institute of Pittsburgh celebrated its 20th anniversary Thursday by honoring its founders, the late Sister Michele O'Leary and Dr. Mel Madden. The event in the Reed Smith Building also honored the new ambassador to Ireland, Dan Rooney, and former U.S. Rep. Jim Walsh. Guest of honor was Ireland's ambassador to the United States, Michael Collins.
