Traffic on southbound Route 837 (State Street and Fifth Street) in Clairton, Jefferson Hills and West Elizabeth will be reduced to a single lane starting today and continuing around-the-clock through late next month, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.
The southbound right lane on Route 837 will be closed between St. Clair Avenue in Clairton and Jones Street in West Elizabeth through the intersection with Route 51 and the Elizabeth Bridge, PennDOT said. One southbound lane will remain open. The lane closure will begin in the early afternoon today.
