Five arrested at Seneca Valley High School
Friday, April 24, 2009

Five people were arrested Tuesday at Seneca Valley High School after police investigating a report of suspicious activity in a campus parking lot found marijuana, heroin, drug paraphernalia and a knife.

Jackson Township Police Chief Len Keller said a school security officer contacted police shortly after noon after seeing a young man running from the school near where two other men were sitting in a parked car.

The men in the car told responding officers that they had come to the school to get money from students in order to purchase heroin in Pittsburgh.

The school was placed on temporary lockdown as police arrested a male student who had let one of the men into the school. A female student was taken into custody after police searching her purse found heroin and a bottle of urine to be used for drug-testing purposes.

The drugs, cash and the car with Georgia registration were seized.

Those arrested were Jamie Stevens, 18, for possession of heroin and furnishing drug-free urine; Jesse Muto, 19, for disorderly conduct; Chris Stubenbort, 20, of Zelienople, for disorderly conduct; driver Matthew Goldsberry, 19, of Georgia, for defiant trespass; and an unnamed 17-year-old from Georgia, for possession of a weapon on school property and possession of marijuana.
