Archie Miller, 31, brings seven years of coaching and administrative experience to his brother's staff, and he spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach at Ohio State under Thad Motta.

Penn State hired Iowa State coach Cael Sanderson to take over the Nittany Lions wrestling program, luring away a marquee name from one of the sport's geographic hotbeds. Sanderson leaves his alma mater, Iowa State, after three seasons. The Cyclones won three consecutive Big 12 Conference titles under Sanderson and finished in the top five in each of the past three NCAA championships. He takes over for Troy Sunderland, who resigned two weeks ago after 11 seasons at the helm of the Nittany Lions.
North Dakota State disciplined four players. Three have been suspended after they were cited for drunken driving and another has been dismissed after he was charged with marijuana possession. The three suspended players are return specialist Shamen Washington, quarterback Jose Mohler and defensive end Garrett Johnson. Backup quarterback Troy Jackson was thrown off the team. He has had repeated off-field issues.
