College: Droney has scholarship offers from Notre Dame, Davidson and some other Division I colleges.
The skinny: A standout guard who can play the point or shooting guard. Averaged 23.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 6.6 assists for WPIAL Class A champion, and tied a WPIAL championship game record with 40 points against Serra.
Most memorable moment this season or in a past season? Winning a WPIAL championship.
If you could be any basketball player in the world who would it be? LeBron James. He has so much money, too, and he's only 24. Good God.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Maybe playing basketball professionally -- maybe in Europe. Or maybe on Wall Street. Or maybe running my own business.
Something you wish you could do over again in high school? Play lacrosse in the spring. I have a lot of friends who play it.
Blank bothers you? When a teacher has something written on the blackboard, erases it and doesn't get it all off. I don't know why that bothers me, but I have to have it totally clean.
People might be surprised to know that you ... I'm a freak at world series of poker on line.
Franklin Regional Senior
Pos: Guard Ht: 6-1
College: Has committed to play at Division II Pitt-Johnstown.
The skinny: Led the entire WPIAL in scoring this season with an average of 27.9 points a game. Scored 30 or more nine times. Shot over 55 percent from the field the past two seasons and led team to WPIAL Class AAAA playoffs both years. A four-year starter who scored 1,697 career points and set school record this season with 45 in one game.
Most memorable moment this season or in a past season? Getting the single-game scoring record this year.
If you could be any basketball player in the world, past or present, who would it be? That's a tough one, but I'd say Pistol Pete Maravich.
Something you'd like to get around to doing? Getting a tatoo, but I don't know how my mom would feel about that.
Something you wish you could do over again in high school? Play football.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Being the agent for Dorian Bell [Gateway star linebacker and Ohio State football recruit]. I've known him for a while.
Blank bothers you? Bad drivers on the road.
People might be surprised to know that you ... Start every day by eating Froot Loops cereal for breakfast.
Chartiers Valley Junior
Pos: Guard Ht: 5-11
College: Has made a verbal commitment to Duquesne
The skinny: A sharpshooter who averaged 22.1 points, 5.7 assists, 5.9 steals and 3.6 rebounds. He shot 53 percent (93 of 174) from 3-point range and had 52 points in one game against West Mifflin. Helped Chartiers Valley average 82.7 points a game. He has 241 career 3-pointers and has a good chance at breaking the WPIAL record of 302 next season. It's held by 1998 Chartiers Valley graduate Mike Colbert.
Most memorable moment this season or in a past season? Probably scoring my 1,000th point this year.
If you could be any basketball player in the world, past or present, who would it be? J.J. Reddick. No, LeBron James.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Playing basketball overseas, or being a history teacher.
Something you'd like to get around to doing? Probably lifting weights.
If you could play at any college in the country, it would be? Duquesne.
Blank bothers you? Snakes. I always check under my covers when I go to bed to make sure they're not there.
People might be surprised to know that you ... I watch WWE wrestling.
Greensburg Salem Senior
Pos: Guard Ht: 5-9
College: Signed with Division II Edinboro.
The skinny: Starting point guard for four seasons. Led Greensburg Salem to PIAA Class AAA title game this season, and was hero with game-winning shots in a few games. Averaged 17.9 points, 6.7 assists. Shot 85 percent from free-throw line. Finished career with 1,455 points and 649 assists.
Most memorable moment this season, or in a past season? There were so many. The buzzer-beaters were cool, but just beating Hampton in the semifinals to get to the state championship was the best feeling.
If you could be any basketball player in the world, who would it be? Dwight Howard [of the Orlando Magic]. I'd like to know what it's like to be a big guy.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Hopefully married, with a good job and hopefully raising a kid to play basketball. And also coaching.
Something you'd like to get around to doing? Just to finally relax this summer and take a little break from basketball.

People might be surprised to know that you ... Played probably 500 AAU games with [Latrobe's] Jeff Yunetz since third grade.
Latrobe Senior
Pos: Guard Ht: 6-2
College: Has signed with West Liberty (W.Va.), a team that led all of NCAA Division II in scoring this season at 98 points a game.
The skinny: One of the best shooters in the WPIAL who averaged 21.8 points a game this season and led Latrobe to a section title for the first time since 1990. The Wildcats finished with a 19-4 record. A four-year starter who had 217 career 3-pointers. He finished as the school's all-time leading scorer with 1,526 points.
Most memorable moment this season or in a past season? Winning the section title this year, since Latrobe hadn't done it in 19 years.
If you could be any basketball player in the world, past or present, who would it be? Michael Jordan. He did win six NBA titles.
Something you'd like to get around to doing? Probably visit Hawaii.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Hopefully rich, married and living on a beach.
Something you wish you could do over again in high school? Probably take more advantage of practice time and win a WPIAL championship.
People might be surprised to know that you ... I like to play in-line hockey.
