AARON JOHNSON

Forward, 6-3, Sophomore

One of the better low-post players in Class AAA in the WPIAL, Johnson averaged 18.7 points and 12 rebounds in helping the Tigers reach the WPIAL semifinals and a 15-11 record. ... Started as a freshman for Moon which advanced to the WPIAL final last season. ... Named to the Associated Press Class AAA third-team All-State team. ... Johnson scored 485 points this season.

DAVID McCAULEY

Lincoln Park

Guard, 6-4, Senior

A two-year starter, McCauley scored 35 points in a game against Union and 31 against Clairton. ... A second-team, all-state selection in Class A, McCauley is headed for California University of Pennsylvania after receiving some Division I interest. ... A Midland resident, he averaged 23.9 points and 10 rebounds a game and finished with 1,009 career points. ... He scored 527 points this season.

Guard, 5-11, Junior

An outstanding 3-point shooter, McConnell connected on 93 of 173 shots outside the arc this season. ... He averaged 22.1 points, 5.7 assists, 5.9 steals and 3.6 rebounds a game for the Colts, who advanced to the WPIAL Class AAA semifinals. ... McConnell has 1,344 career points and has a shot at reaching 2,000 for his career. ... He has verbally committed to Duquesne University. ... A second-team, all-state selection in Class AAA.

Guard, 6-3, Junior

A third-team, all-state selection in Class A, Orie scored 41 points in a game this season against Sewickley Academy. ... He averaged 24.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 4 assists a game for the Chargers. ... Helped Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in Coraopolis to a 17-6 record and the quarterfinals of the WPIAL Class A playoffs. ... An outstanding outside shooter, he was the leading vote-getter among coaches for the All-Section 4-A team.

A four-year starter who has signed to play football at Pitt. ... A second-team, all-state selection this year in Class AA. ... Thomas finished his career with the Tigers with 2,063 points, good enough for 22nd place on the WPIAL's all-time list. ... Scored 501 points this season. ... An excellent athlete, Thomas averaged 18.5 points and 9.3 rebounds a game while being the focal point of opponent's defense.
